Most exploration capital is committed long before a drill hole is collared. The quality of that early decision, which belt, which district, which target, sets the ceiling on everything that follows.

Get it right and the rest of the programme has a chance. Get it wrong and no amount of drilling will recover the position.

We generate projects the way an internal exploration team would, if it had the bandwidth and the cross-jurisdictional reach. Every target carries a documented geological rationale, an independent confidence rank, and a defined next step.

The output is built to stand up to QP review, partner due diligence, and board scrutiny, because that's what our clients use it for.

Three Common Starting Points

Entering a new jurisdiction

You have a thesis on a belt or country but no ground position yet. We define where to stake, in what sequence, and against which deposit type, with the documentation needed to support a board paper or financing memo.

Refreshing an existing portfolio

Your current ground has been worked. You need new targets, either on the same tenure or adjacent to it, that justify the next field season. We rebuild the target inventory from primary data, not from the legacy interpretation.

Revisiting overlooked ground

Old districts get walked away from for reasons that no longer apply. Commodity prices change. Deposit models evolve. Geophysical signatures that were invisible twenty years ago are routinely resolvable now. We work the archive against the current toolkit and surface what was missed.

How We
Generate Projects

  1. Belt and District Selection

    Before targets, the area. We assess belts and districts against deposit-model fit, structural setting, jurisdictional risk, infrastructure, permitting realities, and ground availability. Areas are ranked against the deposit type being hunted, not against generic prospectivity scores. The output is a defensible argument for where to commit and where to walk away.

  2. Data Compilation and Reprocessing

    All available data is brought into a single GIS environment. Government geological surveys, airborne and ground geophysics, historical drilling, surface geochemistry, mapping, academic literature, and prior company filings. Magnetics is reprocessed with current filters. Soil and stream-sediment geochem is re-levelled across survey boundaries. Historical drilling is reviewed for what it actually tested, not what it claimed to test.

  3. Target Definition and Ranking

    Targets are defined against targeted mineralisation style criteria, including alteration footprint, structural setting, geochemical signature, geophysical response, and analogue precedent. Each target carries a written geological rationale, an independent confidence rank, and a defined first-pass programme to test it.

  4. Ground Position and Handover

    Where targets warrant it, we support tenement strategy, staking, permitting, and the technical packages needed for JV discussions or financing. The handover is built so the in-house team or the next consultant can pick it up cold and run with it.
